The Hybrid Ibex, officially recognized as a subspecies by Safari Club International and Grand Slam Club Ovis, is a crossbreed between the Bezoar Ibex and domestic goats. It can be hunted in select regions of Turkey, such as Adiyaman.
While hybrid specimens vary in appearance, they can generally be distinguished from pure Bezoar Ibex by their large, floppy ears and longer body hair. The most notable difference, however, is their horn shape, which often flares outward distinctly. Their horns, resembling those of wild sheep, typically measure between 36” and 44” in length, with a pronounced outward curve.
