Destination:

Surrounded by the Julian Alps in Triglav National Park, Lake Bohinj offers one of Slovenia’s most authentic hunting experiences. The rugged terrain is home to red deer, chamois, roe deer, mouflon, and wild boar. This is true alpine hunting — challenging, raw, and deeply rooted in tradition.

With flexible trophy limits in some areas and expert local guides, Bohinj is perfect for hunters seeking a free-range, no-frills adventure in untouched nature. Here, the hunt is more than a pursuit — it’s a connection to the wild.

Game:

Roe deer, Brown bear, Chamois, Red deer, Wild boar, Mouflon

Firearms & Equipment

Hunters may bring their own rifles (minimum caliber .30-06 with premium ammunition) or opt for high-quality rental rifles available on-site.

Hunting Gear Recommendations

For a guided hunt in the Slovenian Alps, pack a reliable bolt-action rifle with a quality scope (if not rented), binoculars, a rangefinder, and shooting sticks. Wear layered, silent, and weatherproof clothing (merino base layers, insulated mid-layer, waterproof jacket and pants), plus sturdy, high-ankle hunting boots and gaiters. Bring a small backpack with essentials: knife, headlamp, water, snacks, gloves, beanie, etc.

Opt for camouflage or natural colors, and be prepared for sudden weather changes in the mountains.

Other essentials include sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and a flashlight. We’re here to ensure your hunting trip is not just a success but an unforgettable experience in the heart of Namibia’s wilderness.

Accommodation:

During the hunt, you'll stay in a variety of comfortable accommodations, including hotels, mountain huts, or lodges, depending on where the day ends and where conditions are best for the next hunt. Each place is carefully selected to ensure cleanliness and comfort, and all meals are provided, so you can focus fully on the experience without worrying about logistics.

More than just a hunting destination, this is a place to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories in the heart of Slovenia’s wild beauty.
